Recreational Gymnastics
Parent & Tot
(8:1 Student/Teacher Ratios - 1 Hour)
At GSGA, our Parent & Tot Recreational class is designed for little ones ages 15 months to 36 months. It offers a fantastic introduction to the world of gymnastics with the support of a parent, grandparent, or guardian. The engaging program provides a fun and supportive environment where toddlers can develop crucial physical and social skills alongside their adult helper.
Tiny Tots
(8:1 Student/Teacher Ratios - 1 Hour)
Bronze Stars is designed to introduce young gymnasts to the basics of gymnastics in a fun and engaging environment. This class focuses on building coordination, strength, and flexibility through foundational skills. Students will learn basic bar holds, forward and backward rolls, and balance techniques on the beam. Vaulting activities will help develop their jumping abilities. This class also emphasizes listening skills, following instructions, and developing confidence.
Beginner gymnastics
(8:1 Student/Teacher Ratios - 1 Hour)
Silver Stars is perfect for gymnasts who have a basic foundation and are ready to expand their skills. This class introduces more advanced movements, focusing on strength, coordination, and flexibility. Students will begin practicing skills such as cartwheels, handstands, and basic beam turns, while also building confidence on the bars and vault.
Intermediate gymnastics
(8:1 Student/Teacher Ratios - 1 Hour)
Gold Stars is designed for gymnasts who have mastered the basics and are ready for more complex skills. This class focuses on refining techniques and building strength, balance, and flexibility. Students will work on more advanced bar transitions, round-offs, and introductory back extension rolls. Beam skills will include mounts, dismounts, and handstand drills.
Boys beginner gymnastics
(8:1 Student/Teacher Ratios - 1 Hour)
This introductory class is perfect for boys ages 5-8 or 9-12 who are eager to learn the basics of gymnastics in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will build strength, coordination, and confidence as they explore fundamental skills on apparatus such as the floor, rings, and bars. The class focuses on physical fitness, discipline, and enjoyment, while also providing an excellent foundation for future gymnastics development.
